John is a veteran film and television producer who's most recent on-line education projects include eCornell's upcoming FOOD SYSTEMS & SUSTAINABILITY, the reboot of eCornell's PLANT-BASED NUTRITION (20,000 graduates), and PLANTPURE HEALTH & WEIGHT LOSS.

John has produced a host of award-winning film and television projects over the past 30 years and brings a wealth of experience in delivering high-quality shows simultaneously on time and within budget.

John’s groundbreaking feature documentary film, FORKS OVER KNIVES (Netflix), is one of the most influential and best-selling health documentaries since 2011.  Other wellness productions include PLANTPURE NATION, the ENGINE 2 KITCHEN RESCUE, CODE BLUE (2020) and THE MINDFULNESS MOVEMENT with Jewel and Deepak Chopra (2020).

His feature film producing credits include Universal’s hit action-comedy, THE RUNDOWN, the 3D animated THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, AYN RAND and the PROPHECY OF ATLAS SHRUGGED, TATTOO NATION (Spike TV), THE BOWDEN DYNASTY (ESPN), and THE FACE OF EVIL: REINHARD HEIDRICH (A&E).

John has also created and supervised over 200 hours of award-winning television documentaries including the popular long-running animal series SAFARI TRACKS (FOX), THE COLOR OF WAR and SWORN TO SECRECY (History Channel), CELEBRITY WINGS (Discovery), and WEAPONS AT WAR (A&E).  His television specials include THE WILD YAK PATROL (Animal Planet), THE LONG MARCH and D-DAY: THE TOTAL STORY (History Channel).

His three-hour special THE LAST DAYS OF WWII was nominated for a National Emmy, and his acclaimed all color WWII series THE COLOR OF WAR was recognized with the CINE SPECIAL JURY AWARD as the best historical program, network or cable.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University and previously served as a Captain in the US Air Force’s Combat Camera Squadron.
